Pros

Can't think of any -- certainly not because they are a market leader!

Cons

I find the winning of the "Best Place to Work", funny and can only think it was obtained because HR flooded the voting box and/or the South African HQ employees did the same. This place is horrible for an American to work at -- people that run the Americas are from South America or AP, that have curried favor to move into senior positions. And if you are an American, you are wrong and dont have a clue how to operate. Look at the recent defection of senior Americans in Group positions. It's how they are treated. You are also expected to fund your own travel (and get reimbursed). Ok if you are in an Americas position, where travel is cheap compared to flying all over the world. Only South Africans and European workers are allowed corp cards. The rest of us funded those $10K trips to AP, out of our own pocket.

Pros

Having started as a small company, the small business culture still exists in some pockets People - Some of the staff from older days made the company tolerable.

Cons

Politics is encouraged Absolute boys club The executives are always in-fighting and working to self-promote HR is full of fake promises and lip service, and completely incompetent If you are senior enough, you can play the system and do as you wish. Zero due diligence. Hire and promote mates openly, pay them double the money, fire people out if they disagreed with them, push people to street leave for ridiculous reasons. Overall, I would avoid if you can.

Pros

Plenty (however mandatory) of Overtime Available, Affordable Healthcare Plan (as of 2014).

Cons

Work/Life balance is nonexistant due to the fact that overtime is mandatory for Managed Services/Monitoring (which they call "Insite") staff, no lunch breaks, low hourly pay in comparison to competitors, little/no room to grow, employees are denied training, management is not engaged with employees, management uses their subordinates as scapegoats for their mistakes, no sick time, impossible to call out/go on sick leave due to extremely, detrimentally lean staffing, at times large workload which you are expected to complete in an unrealistic time-frame, without any help (see extremely, detrimentally lean staffing), many complaints from DiData customers due to SLA time. Overall horrible environment, management sees employees as little more than human resources.
