Pros

The people are great. The projects are awesome. The pay is ok.

Cons

The pay is just OK. I work in a building that has around 300 people and 9 bathroom stalls. I've seen cleaner bathrooms at a music festival. The building is kept at 50 degrees F year round. My team tried asking management to help get the building warmed up and we were told to bring jackets. People are crammed into offices and tiny work spaces in hallways with no windows. I'm forced to work in a room that has no wifi and 4 hard lines, we share internet access.

Worst Company Ever - UK Office

Pros

None, it doesn't even look good on the CV as it's an American company which no-one has heard of

Cons

Favouritism, inequality, discrimination...the list is endless. If you don't sit in the right cost centre - you will never get recognised/ awarded/ praised. If you do - you will be thrown unlimited pay increases and bonuses! Company ethics are poor, employees are demotivated and demoralised, no community or team spirit. Senior management believe they are above everyone else. The UK CEO will not even say hello if in the office (which is rare anyway). You will be ignored until something is required from you - at which point you are summoned and will be spoken down to.

Pros

None, I was only given a start date

Cons

The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. I was given a start date, submitted sensitive documents and urine sample for drug test and back ground check which took at least a month. I was was given starting pay and supervisor to report to and at the 12th hour they said I wasn't qualified because I didn't have 2 years full time off electronic school. I a ttended a year full time at RETS Technologies and 5 year apprenticeship and 15 years with Local 486, with more than adequate electronic experience working in supermarkets and process refrigeration. The whole process took several months. I turned down several positions because I accepted position. This company has no empathy or common sense, so don't do it. The pay for what they want is also inadequate. They wanted a top notch HVAC Refrigeration mechanic. I have a unrestricted Masters license. I wonder about our defence industry now seeing the inadequate hiring process for good people.
