Pros

There are some professional, courteous, collaborative people here. Unfortunately they're not managers, directors or vps. Pros are execeedingly few and far between.

Cons

Zero investment in people/management in the last 30 years. And it shows. Promotions based on who is in the right spot, at the right time, nodding in the right direction. Culturally this company is decades behind and smart people recognize that even if they're initially duped into accepting an offer. Poor leave, below average compensation, managers who have no people skills.

Great products and important to our nations security

Cons

GOOD OL BOY network still alive and well. Promotions and opportunities based on who you know not what you know. Executive leadership team leads by intimidation not by example. Ethics is just a word not a belief in the Palmdale Location.

Pros

Fellow employees are good, hard-working and well-intended.

Cons

CEO's #1 focus is shareholders. Management's #1 focus is their next promotion. Salaries are stagnant and are often less than the Federal COLA's. Bonuses go to the top 1%. Promotions are politically driven within a "good ol' boy network." Employees are expected to brag about their accomplishments at review time because managers are too busy promoting themselves to know what their staff are doing. Seagull management style is rampant.
