Bad culture, ancient technology, poor infrastructure, poor management, no career trajectory
Pros
-Off Fridays! -Can flex your work time -People are generally nice -Pace of work is slow and mostly low pressure -Lots of young people bringing in new energy
Cons
-Lots of employee turnover in engineering -Benefits are really lacking (terrible medical plans, avg. 401k, very restricting educational assistance, almost zero company perks, etc.) -Company morale is extremely low -Minimal pay increases and small competitive bonuses are not incentivizing -Poor mentoring and training for new engineers and technicians - not a learning culture -Training budget got eliminated -Very slow promotions and career growth for most. There is no transparency in career path and salary. -Over hired engineers in 2017 and people got shifted into places they were not hired for -Management communications are not transparent and the employee surveys are a big joke instead of development opportunities
