Pros

Excellent 401k, Credit Union, and Medical plans. Decent retirement/separation packages. Onsite fitness center and fitness classes. Excellent tuition assistance.

Cons

Incompetent and undeserving middle and upper management. Poor strategy planning that causes unnecessary time constraints and inefficient use of resources. Onsite HR is worthless. Promotions are only given to those that are in the right circle. It's hard to get recognized for hard work and talent unless you know the right person.

Pros

Provides a security clearance. Made some great friends among my peers. Intramural sports leagues and regular social outings. Great health benefits. OK 401K plan (you put in 4% and they'll match 2% max).

Cons

Lack of communication and feedback; managers wait until end of year to provide anything meaningful. Employees put into leadership positions without demonstrating any ability to manage people. Far behind the cutting edge. Laid off 800 people 3 times in the past 2 years.

9/80 schedule. Competitive pay. Shutdown at end of year.

Cons

Incredibly toxic work environment where white male managers dominate. If you are not willing to be corrupt like your manager or director, be prepared to be bullied and pushed out. You will be harassed constantly until they break you or push you out. Favoritism and promotion of friends and family members who are unfit for management. Incredibly toxic work environment where people of “power” think they can treat others with disrespect because they always get away with it. People who have multiple HR complaints about them just get moved around instead of fired. HR here is a joke with constant turnover and zero consistency and follow up.
