Pros

Northrop Grumman is a large company that has locations all over the country, so there are plenty of places to relocate to if you ever get tired of where you are working.

Cons

As a government contract focused business, work tends to come in cycles where part of the year you will be really busy and other times you won't have much to work on.

Pros

Pay is decent. While I hate the annual ethics training, it does show how important it is to the company. My position allows for minimal direct supervision, just get the work done and make the client happy and nobody will be breathing down your neck. Good vacation and personal time off amounts. Good retirement contributions.

Cons

A lot of the positions offered by Northrop Grumman are contracts that could be lost on any given year. In regards to that, the pay should be about 10% higher than competitive jobs that are less likely to go away. Insurance deductibles might be industry standard, but if you want to be an exceptional company, bring them down considerably.

Pros

Large Company, Many Opportunities, Stable Employer, good benefits

Cons

Large Bureaucracy / Corporate structure that tailors business to Department of Defense, Federal, and State governments and other large corporate bureaucracies you will deal with the headaches and frustrations of navigating and trying to accomplish goals in a bureaucracy on both the employer / worker and client side of the business.
