      Nepotism at it’s finest.

      Pros

      Pros: Great office and benefits. Cons: If you’re not related to the founder or part of the “cool kids” , you’re someone else’s stepping stone. Who you know trumps what you know. HR practices lack integrity and ethics. A “Nepotism 101” handbook should be included with your onboarding.

      1. Challenging work 2. Good pay 3. Freedom to implement your ideas 4. Great team members

      Cons

      How a bad management scrwes up, optym is going to be a perfect example in coming days. If the current attitude of imposing useless policies without taking people into confidence continues, soon people will start jumping ship. Sooner management realises the better.

      Nepotism and CEO Fail

      Good people and interesting industry.

      Cons

      You don’t want to work here unless you’re a fan of nepotism. The CEO failed to secure venture capital for a startup and failed to see it was his own shortcomings that were the cause. The CEO did well with a project/consulting-based business, but didn't realize that a SaaS business would require marketing resources to build. He then decided to outsource the sales and marketing to India—yeah, that will work well with American truckers. Steer clear, there are plenty of great jobs out there with less craziness.
