Pros

I have wanted to work at this company for several years. I applied several times per year for 6 years. Finally got a look this year. The job I have is very sought after and it's a relatively small group within the company. Everything I hoped for is here. My managers are amazing. They are forward thinking, trusting, trustworthy, experienced in my work and experienced in management. They are accessible without micromanaging. The team is free of micro- aggressions, culturally aware (since we make visual content this is very important) and we are well funded so that the content we produce suits the company for which we're doing the work. The company culture is one that cares about the employees, listens to the employees and respects the employees. That doesn't mean we get our way with everything. But we are heard and considered which is important to the relationship. This company puts a big emphasis on volunteerism and giving back to your community and they provide you with some time each year to donate to the cause of your choice and they match donations to your favorite charities. So, you can find cause you believe in and the company will support the work you do for them. Many companies have this perk, but it is a fantastic perk to have at work. Additionally, this company supports the LGBTQ+ community and minority groups and is committed to equal pay for equal work and leveling gender equality amongst it's staff, which only makes the company better for everyone. If you can find a job at this company, I highly recommend it. May teams are completely remote (as is mine) other teams have a hybrid office style, and still other teams are needed in the office on the regular. But the company is flexible, despite having really fantastic towers in multiple cities around the world. I've visited several offices now and they each have comparable amenities and comforts so wherever you go you can expect a similar experience.

Cons

I'm still relatively new and I don't actually have any "cons" for this company. I suspect that whatever they might be, they will be relatively insignificant and sound pretty entitled. This is my best career experience thus far.

Pros

The give you Iphone to enable you to work from anywhere and not dependent on laptop to get the work done. Rs5000pm on wellness which you can use it anywhere for healthy life Flexible work times Free food at premises Good engagement programs

Cons

Got hired in Feb 2022 and their leadership agreed during All Hands Meet that they hired folks around the world absurdly and now they are planning to cut cost so that they achieve their $50B target, didnt know they would fire within 3 months the probation. If you get an interview do ask them about the of your role and their team and how much budget they have for the next year to continue to be active

Pros

There is a decent amount of freedom depending on which team you are on. Remote work is typically an option for anyone who's interested or you can be full-time in house or a hybrid of the two. There is so much work and so much change that you will learn A TON... but it'll be at a firehouse pace so it's hard to sustain.

Cons

Extremely toxic culture. "Leadership" that specialized in gaslighting and very blatant threats. An HR department that chooses to sweep complaints about senior leaders (from multiple people and orgs) under the rug. HR seemed to purposely omit exit interviews for many people I knew who left for some of these reasons. Constant reminders about how we're all "Ohana" but yet numerous mass layoffs with little warning, PIPs were given to people for little to nothing, unreasonable expectations were set to purposely to drive people out of the company (i.e., expecting an associate engineer who joined my team to deliver the same level of work I was within their first month... they quit last year too). Politics ruled the world; you couldn't get anything done unless you were doing a favor for another team or going to the top of the chain to force it down someone's throat... which people often thought was funny to do on a Friday afternoon to force others to work the weekend. Initiatives were constantly changing before the previous one was completed. Management never really seemed to know what was actually the focus of the month because, quite frankly, they were moved around so often and so overloaded, they rarely knew more than the "1000 foot view" of the product they were supposed to be managing. Hours mandated were ridiculous; some days we worked until 3 or 4am and were expected back on shift by 9 or 10am; wasn't uncommon to work 60 to 80 hour weeks, occasionally seeing 90 to 105 (yes in a single week and no that'snot an exaggeration). A considerable amount of talk publicly about "work life balance" but it wasn't present in the slightest in our org. I could honestly write another entire thesis on the things that weren't great about working here after my 7 years. I left because I just didn't want to deal with it anymore (like MANY others) and I've literally talked a number of people out of even trying to apply. If you're young, single, and love to do nothing but work your life away, it'll be a great place to learn but don't get stuck there in the golden handcuffs if the position doesn't suit you. There are MUCH better places to work who will treat you like a person instead of a feature delivering dog.
