      Famous brand to put on CV. Work hours not too long.

      Their idea to handle covid-19 was to rearrange the office desks so that they could fit as many people as possible as they ticked the "2 meters+" box They bullied me to get back to the office, which I was only able to avoid by threatening to resign Projects involved a huge amount of bullshitting

      I was hoping to join the world leader in consumer electronics but I quickly realised Samsung is an old family-owned manufacturing company. The working environment and tools are counter-productive and not collaborative, so you need to work more to achieve less than in a modern company (no wifi, old PCs, proprietary softwares, internet restrictions...) They don't empower their employees (all benefits, leaves etc. are minimal) and you constantly need to get approvals for anything you do. Lastly, if you're not Korean the ceiling glass is a reality, you won't grow any further than Manager level.
