Pros

- Stocks and benefits. - 1 month notice period. - You will be forced to work beyond your limits, you will learn to handle pressure if you can work.

Cons

- Stock options will make you work life a slave, choose wisely. - No much career growth - Even the pay will be low due to stock options. - Management is the worst. Few of them are just show pieces and cannot even handle escalations. - All Managers were once colleagues in CA, they were not evaluated atleast. - No work life balance. - Your salary, career everything is in the hands on managers. HR has no role in the organisation. - You need to work during weekends twice a month without any allowance. - Policies in India are different from global policies, which are the worst. - Few Engineers dominate other Engineers with their extra managerial skills, don't fall for them ever!

Pros

Company is growing no matter what anyone says and that’s the big pros I would say.

Cons

As part of the growth, company is hiring people at a good speed and so the quality measures to hire good people have probably been compromised. Another downside - be careful if you are given a out of the band salary and stocks. There will be a good chance that you will be asked to leave by the time you are near to your vesting date. I had almost half a million dollars worth of RSUs and couldn’t even get a penny out of it as I was given all stupid reasons to leave. I made 100% on my MBOs for 4 quarters in a row (that means I was doing good) but then suddenly, as I came close to my first vesting date, management started saying that I am not doing well. I showed the management so many appreciations from customers for me but they acted as blind to all of those.

Pros

New CEO is fantastic and new CHRO is a great addition. The CEO has an excellent vision for the company but he needs to make changes more quickly at the executive level to ensure that vision is carried out. Compensation is fair; stock price has made ServiceNow compensation package very attractive. Customer love ServiceNow technology

Cons

CMO 'leads' through bullying, micromanagement, retaliation and fear-based tactics. Diversity is non-existent with only one woman on the marketing leadership team which has likely helped fuel the 'bro culture' mentality. The marketing team avoids innovation or 'pushing the needle' due to fear of reprisal or public embarrassment of the CMO telling them their ideas are 'not good' and/or ensuring that those ideas are not supported broadly. Therefore the majority of the marketing is focused on tactical execution which will not take the company to the level it needs to be in support of the CEOs vision. Many very seasoned marketing people have joined the company over the past few years who are chomping at the bit to implement new programs and ideas, but the culture of fear, lack of appreciation for innovation, and lack of acknowledgement of people's expertise that they bring to the table, has caused many people to leave, and/or just punch in and punch out in order to wait for their stock to vest.
