Pros

Great products and some good people.

Cons

Disingenuous leadership. Image on LinkedIn more important that what is really happening. Middle school culture. Lack of HR - 3 CHRO's in the last 2 years leading to a culture of secret investigations, backstabbing and complaining. Especially if you are brought in to lead change - protect yourself with a strong employment agreement with clear terms for when you are terminated without cause and what constitutes cause - including notice period, acceleration of unvested stock and alignment on message externally. Especially for women over 50 the company will have you do the hard work of driving change and building teams and then kick you to the curve with zero notice when the hard work has been done. There is a double standard on what is culturally acceptable for men to do and vs. women and its extreme. The standard employment agreement crafted by their high powered external lawyers is meant to provide no recourse to employees. Don't sign it!

Pros

They attract you with very gracious salary and stock option plans to snag you away from your current role and sell you on the potential growth and direction of the company. I appreciate my paycheck! Good Medical/Dental/Vision

Cons

The company has grown too rapid that their processes and systems do not support the growth and rate of hire. It is ridiculously hard to find any information or make informed business decisions. Also, be on the lookout for rapidly changing comp plans or not honoring to pay out MBOs. While they are gracious on salary and stock they are very frugal when it comes to cell phone coverage, company expenses, and they do not offer a stipend to cover remote employees. I have now figured out where Hungry and Humble originates... Hungry - have to constantly follow up with fellow team members to get anything done and pester your peers. Humble - we pay you a lot in salary, don't expect us to help cover anything else

Pros

Amazing and Energetic Exec Leadership Great platform Culture is spotty for some groups but overall there is a positive collaboration across different functional orgs

Cons

Depends on the org, some are very toxic No growth No empowerment No sense of belonging Depends on your relationship with your immediate manager, it will dictate your bonus % versus what you actually brought in to table. Its all about having that PERSONAL relationship versus having a healthy business relationship Unsafe working environment (*for some groups within ServiceNow)
