Pros

Good stock options but given on stacked value - Have to complete a year to start receiving Smart and hardworking colleagues Good product Good customer feedback Opportunity to work with the fast paced team in customer support - good expose to time critical issues and prevent outages

Cons

Micromanaged by very biased Managers and Directors Very much bureaucratic and process driven without use of any common sense Managers are hired externally from Manager's friends circle or previous jobs without going through a full interview and internally if you are part of the 'friends' team then you will be promoted to Tech Lead or manager role No promotion or career growth . You are a machine unless you are friends with director No salary raise and no new shares either Lack of transparency Recognition and career growth is only possible if you are the Director's friend

Pros

ServiceNow has a great growth trajectory ahead of them. People who work here are in high demand as what we have had to do over the last 3-4 years to build the foundation and scale from $500M to nearly $2B is an amazing achievement for those that have been there during these years.

Cons

The opportunity for newer employees is still there but not as great. The stock grants are much smaller than they used to be due to board limitations and the value. Your experience at ServiceNow will really depend on which department you work in and your manager. Marketing is not the place you want to work. People are tossed out not for performance but because they don't have skills that the company needs for the next phase. This is no way to treat people who grew the company. Sadly the CMO stifles innovation, its his way or the highway and we went down a path over the last year where we put way to much focus on demand gen and nothing else. Departments have suffered lack of resources and budgets. Thankfully our CEO and CCO see this and are ensuring we invest outside of demand gen.

Pros

Company leadership is open and honest, quarterly company meetings have a lot of information and updates on where the company is and what future plans are Working remote is allowed and never has been an issue. Quarterly bonus and stock options. Fully stocked kitchens with a lot of food options.

Cons

Fast growing company, which results in lack of training/communication. Extremely cliquey work environment, career advancement impacted as a result. "Unlimited time off" mentioned in the benefits is followed by "we cannot take more than 15 days per year" from managers on day 1. Aside from working remote capabilities, work/life balance is terrible. Expected to be working at all times, negative feedback if emails aren't answered late at night/early in the morning.
