Pros

Pay and health benefits are a pro but there are many other jobs that pay similar also. Work within teams, build friendships and have people you can vent to when customers are too much.

Cons

The culture is poor. reps are encouraged to lie to customers to get meet quotas. Leadership is very immature all around also. Working for tech companies and as a contractor for the government in comparison felt like high schoolers were given position of leadership with not much training or direction. Trust me they are not high schoolers just incompetent, pressured, and lack empathy. Most people who are there are not bad people. You can work there and have a good experience. Just keep your head down dont do too good or too bad as you may put a target on your back. I've seen it happen to countless people. Going back to the culture because it is no secret how Tmobile and its leaders operate at this location in Charleston SC. Its a call center so at anytime a big shift in business can have hundreds of people be fired.

Pros

Decent pay starting at 20 per hour. Good PTO accruals, bonus potential, benefits, annual stock grant, employee stock purchase program, cell service discount... There are a lot of different departments to move into. Social media, Technical support, Sales, Outbound resolution. Most of these positions require some level of sales. I gained a lot of knowledge in communication and empathy. Developed a lot of skills in leadership and mentoring. I will always appreciate all the things I've learned and there were a lot of great people to work with.

Cons

Stock holders and profit is the most important thing to the company. AI is inevitable in this industry not sure how it will impact future positions. Bonus potential has been reducing over time. Benefits cost keep rising.
