Pros

There are a lot of negative reviews for Teleperformance, my experience there was really great. I felt like I was family from the moment I walked in the door. It was such a positive atmosphere and they always make it fun. They do different contests, motivate employees by doing fun things and giving out fun prizes. High energy environment and everyone smiles and says hi to you in the halls even if you don't know them. They really do care about employees and making it a happy and fun place to work. I loved the fact that you are taught to really care about the members and the goal is to help them in any way possible. It's first about the members then about metrics. I love the positive motivation vibe and I surprised myself when I became one of the top 5 in Consumer Lending for exceeding expectations on referrals (up-sales) while still keeping members wants and needs my top priority. I miss this place and I hope it is still as great as it was. If you want to help Members of USAA Federal Savings Bank and know that what you do everyday does matter then try Teleperformance. It is a call center but if you come in willing to learn and do your job then you will be recognized. I unfortunately left over something that could have been fixed and thinking I was going to a better place that seemed to have the same great atmosphere. I was wrong and would go back to Teleperformance but you live and you learn.

Cons

They are great in every way possible and always find ways to make employees happy. The down side is the turnover and the benefits are not good at all. Nice work stations but you do not have your own desk.

Pros

-Good pay for entry level call center work in my state. -Overall they are very good about coaching you on how you can do better. That being said I see a lot of supervisors that are condescending and when you ask them a question they sometimes will be annoyed that you asked them.

Cons

So My experience with TP is working with usaa originating and servicing auto loans. The training is terrible, both in class and when I first started taking calls. When I started taking calls we only had one person to answer questions for about 9 of us. Needless to say we had our hands up all of the time. I have been told that usaa will have one subject matter expert for every two agents. Not to mention when you are taking calls if an agent gets a good score on a survey they will shout it out for everybody to here and it annoys our members all of the time. We have gotten many bad surveys because of the fact that my management finds it okay to scream about stupid stuff and that's not exaggerating they can get really really loud. Oh and by the way we took an employee survey and before we went they were telling us we had to give them a 9 or 10 for if we would recommend this job or we could just go back and take calls one person did and they still were told to take the survey but they really really try to influence your thinking.

Pros

The pay is good and that's about it, now that only depends on what project you work for and where you work. (Location city, sate ect)

Cons

Management, you need to know people and be under 40yrs old to move up in the company. It's almost like being in high school all over again working here. BENEFITS ARE HORRIBLE!!
