Pros

Get paid for helping people all day. And most supervisors did their job well.

Cons

Sometimes, people who shouldn't ever have any authority over anyone, do become supervisors; however, that seems to happen everywhere, and the manager I spoke to shifted me to another supervisor without objecting. The company failed to take advantage of some opportunities in employee management; we rarely found out when customer sent us thank you letters or e-mails, and employee suggestions seemed to vanish (despite supervisors telling me that they did review employee suggestions in their meetings).

Pros

Flexible schedule Great way to get your feet wet in tech support/IT world Before Teleperformance bought out TAG, the pay was awesome.

Cons

Training....or really lack thereof. You're tossed on the phones as quickly as possible. The health insurance was an utter joke. Working 12-15 hour shifts a day could really wear you out. The politics and favoritism were rampant. It wasn't what you knew but WHO you knew that got you the promotions. Agents were always in the dark (until the last minute) about projects closing and/or any other drastic changes going on with the company.

Pros

For BPO Newbies I recommend this to enhance Average handling time which is crucial to maintain ones career.Several Accounts to choose from.Increased Compensated Salary based on previous experiences which is fair.I literally stated that I have no background at sales & I heard from my fellow applicants at that time that AT&T pays well, were most of them got the job & i was put to Motorola instead which is more on technical & I'm contented.

Cons

Its hard to live far from home with just enough salary. Im just compensated enough, Iloilo & Bacolod vice versa once or twice a month. My first 3 months is a problem for me to use my 2 days off where overtime was not yet possible so i was spending involuntarily.
