Pros

HMO is top notch Transportation is to and fro or remote

Cons

No career growth, you keep doing same thing forever. Highest salary for an engineer is 194,000 Naira and salary review is done in in years and difference added is always between 10,000 to 12,000. The working structure is that of a slave, you get served for faulty policy results which boils down to customer rating which is not fair. Certification voucher is promised but you will have to pass through the eye of the needle to get one, you may end up not getting the Simplest one in years. Some managers are just set backs to their engineers. Your peace of mind will be thoroughly troubled. You are asked to give feedbacks to improve the company but none of your feedbacks are ever considered, you end up being frustrated and sad always. Your tax is toiled with and there is nothing you can do about it even when you keep sending emails or contacting the office in charge. You will be monitored like mad and no work life balance. Omo, working here is not for the faint in heart, if you survive this place, you will survive any terrible working environment in the world.

Pros

Only accept an offer if you are looking to add experience points to your resume or trying to conquer imposter syndrome and in the case of imposter syndrome the validation you seek has to come from you, not the company or anyone else, because honestly there's nothing great about this place. They say it's a great place to start a tech career but trust me you are not missing anything if you take your chances elsewhere, it takes strong will and determination to get out of the doldrums once you are in. HMO is in place just to keep you going, so the stress and toxicity doesn't kill you. Transportation to work onsite only to carry out remote tasks. Most employees are still there because they haven't got another or better offers.

Cons

Very low salaries and compensation for engineers who actually do the most, No flexibility, very bad work life balance. WFH is used as a tool for rewarding performance but you can be called back to the office for any or no reason. Very slow or no growth, you have to wait for your seniors to leave or die to grow and when there's an opening the internal politics kicks in. Over reliance on metrics that do not properly reflect the effort of employees. An incompetent employee will look like a hero and even get rewarded for handling easy tasks, while those who are competent and take on complex issues are given more work and may end up bearing the brunt of an issue which their efforts were instrumental in resolving, and even after review the employee is pressured into taking on more tasks to boost their performance scores. Only decent managers practice clear and concise communication, most are very manipulative and lack empathy.
