However, all my learning and development is due to my proactiveness, as the company does not offers much, besides the internal projects they handled which are selected on a biased and subjective basis, as these are chosen by Tek Experts bureaucracy, and if for some reason they don’t like you you will never be a fit for this opportunities regardless of your performance and scorecards, and I have live that already. The site itself is awful, the assets are old, and the infrastructure is archaic. Upper management makes decisions once gain biased and subjective, compromising the proper administration of the technical teams. There are no incentives besides of the wfh opportunities and the “bonuses” that you may or may not receive just because. The compensation is nowhere near what other vendors offer, and this causes the core teams to be often out of support, as these more experienced engineers are always targeted by other vendors and they all leave the company due to the humongous differences in wages. As of now, I don’t see any interest in keeping the experienced people as nothing is being done to prevent the negative attrition that is impacting the technical teams. It seems that the main focus of Tek Experts is the diversity and inclusion, and this is completely derailing the main purpose of the organization which is to provide outstanding technical support services to our clients.
