Good hours. In general you have a good work/life balance. Good benefits plan (Health, dental, etc). The younger folks in the office are friendly and create a good environment.

Cons

Salary is so bad. They will try to pay you the least minimum possible and they will try to keep you at that level as long as possible. Your work will not be appreciated. Even when when you meet the impossible requests, you will always be behind. Work environment that they create is not friendly at all.

Flat structure & good exposure for junior staffs.

Cons

Middle & back office don't have clear career path. Generally UBS takes longer time to get promoted than street average. Free salary if no promotion & low % of raise if get promoted.

Management does absolutely no training My director doesn't have time to train or teach me anything.... constantly pushes me off to another director. the first 6 months on the job don't expect to do anything Very top heavy in risk management
