Pros

Pretty nice benefits with wellness incentives. Upped employer match to 6% from 3%. Management tends to listen to feedback. Generally, I work with talented people.

Cons

Worried about filling roles rather than employee development. If you're a motivated individual, don't get sucked into a role in operations. You'll be pigeon holed and will leave within a year. High turnover, can't wait to leave.

Pros

- career growth: opportunity to grow your career by learning from peers, internal training courses, short workshops - healthy environment: most of the staff treat other each well. Teamwork attitude with a focus on helping the community multiple months of the year - access to management: you can typically meet with senior management easily on a quarterly basis. I also feel like line manager support is good - benefits: nice amount of time off from day 1 and decent 401k match

Cons

- Reviews/Compensation: One yearly review where the metrics to succeed are very tough. Everyone is "average" on the scale and very tough to break through the average threshold. Compensation lacks workload. You will feel underpaid for 1-2 years due to workload before you are recognized with a raise in compensation. Also, compensation discussion is yearly after reviews. You never see off cycle raises. Insurance: HSA model which can be difficult for families

Pros

Excellent benefits. 3 weeks vacation, 8 sick days, 2 personal days when hired. Company funded HSA which is yours whether you stay or leave the firm and is replenished every year. Generous family leave when you have children.

Cons

Micro-managed. Severely underpaid at 50K a year compared to the market we work and peer firms. Unless you live locally the commute is undesirable. Severely understaffed and overworked teams, which in my time, clearly has negative impacts on morale across the teams and produces over 40% turnover in the first year of employment for new hires. Have to stay in the role for 18 months before you can look at other career opportunities/paths in the firm.
