Pros

Working with professional staff from around the world See the work of UN from the inside Exciting and motivating tasks Intelligent colleagues to talk to and learn from them Opportunities to attend workshops and events Networking Learn about global issues see how they are treated Opportunities to grow and if you word-hard more difficult tasks are given for your own personal development

Cons

Unpaid internship for full time, however, still totally worth it Unable to get employed/apply in the same department up to 6 months after finishing internship At times not enough to do Going through security everyday (when big conferences are held you are delayed up to 30 mins)
