Overall fine

Pros

Good pay, stressless work, colleagues from all around the world.

Cons

My experience was mainly general skills, some full-time staff are doing little, but get great benefits. UN still has classification of people in P and G categories, with very little chance of switching. P stands for professional staff and G staff doing administrative work. In case you enter UN without any masters degree you end up as G staff facing later on challenges in switching to P.
