Pros

Solid benefits. Good culture. Plenty of Snacks and free food on a weekly basis. Technical learning opportunities abound. Customer focused, support focuses on top shelf service that puts rest of industry to shame.

Cons

Turnover for peers and managers alike within support is high. The cream of the crop leave for internal opportunities (good) or, too often, leave for better wages outside the company. Constnatly changing metrics for support organization, makes getting raises potentially tricky. Bottom line goal is do what's best for the customer, which is awesome; but how they try to measure that is not communicated well.

Pros

Good exposure to a wide range of Technical issues. Very good for improving your technical skills. Good team work and work colleagues. Holidays good, canteen very good and some nice perks from time to time.

Cons

very busy !! VMware like to portray that the customer always come first but it seems that stats are all that matters to management. Training is inadequate and almost not existent, usually you are too busy to go on training when it does come around. Opportunities are very limited there and it seems to be the culture in VMware that if you want to further your career you have to leave the company and this is a shame !!
