Salary, ability to learn by way of fire.

Cons

Woman beware there are some very bad characters! Organization needs a major overhaul of upper Management. Very poor hiring practices, lack of concern for safety, chaos due to unqualified staff. Profit is the only goal, not sustainable.

Some very good people work for Veolia.

Cons

Management has no clue how to run an office. They try, but the people they have making the decisions have no experience. HR is useless.

Overall I enjoyed the work for a long time, the challenge the constant learning but then.....

Cons

Upper mgmt decided on a reduction in force and my work load became unbearable, then to find out I was being paid less than my male counterparts who had less responsibilities. The stress was so bad and the hours so long. !. there was no work life balance and 2. people were waiting for me to have a heart attack or stroke. I do not miss the politics, or the nonsense.
