Pros

Relatively ok appraisal system, although for young people of which the partnership is heavily reliant on, there's not many valuable benefits beyond the discount card. Various opportunities for career progression, and skill development in the shop and the partnership.

Cons

Contrary culture, to what you may expect from the partnership Poor decision-making at the corporate level has resulted in no proper bonuses since 2021 Maybe becoming too reliant on technology, which has resulted in operational constraints, impacting stock levels Some managers came across as condescending

Lies

Pros

Some good lads to work with in workshop.

Cons

Lies when it comes to "flexible working" as won't even consider it unless in a management position. Don't say in advert you are expected to work Saturday 6am to 2pm minimum. If you dare question anything then you are forced out of work (despite it being safety related). Pay difference between different mechanics is vast. Management are about as removed from real life as the Government are.

Pros

Discount at JL and waitrose

Cons

They tell you not to discuss your pay with others, tells you everything. Overtime not paid. Unethical management practices. Don’t follow through with their own grievance procedures or occupational therapist’s guidelines. Depressing. Personal injury occurred at work , two herniated discs from incorrect training. O.T guidelines ignored Two contracts amongst staff memebers. Those who are on the old contract get double pay on a Sunday, those on the new contracts do not nor do they know about the extreme differences between contracts amongst partners.
