Pros

Relatively flexible hours, effective part time college and student holiday income. High levels of training provided

Cons

Trade often slow in Exeter, managers can be unwilling to accommodate individual circumstances. Overtime often expected to be completed, not seen as a choice. Relatively high turnover of staff.

Pros

Great discount and staff canteen

Cons

Old fashioned approach to org design, very hierarchical. There was a strong political influence which meant decisions were slow and sometimes nonsensical. Partner Assurance are needed.

Obviously the bonus and benefits. Majority of people are great to be around.

Cons

Face must fit. Challenge of leadership decisions overlooked. Undercurrent of snobbery.
