Pros

Secure employment, nothing else really.

Cons

Not a career just a job, many years to progress, progression not supported but a battle. Organisation says all the right things but in reality does not practise them. Ethics has double standards, and when challenged using democratic channels voices are silenced with threats that wont stand up in court. It has gone downhill with ever decline of employee benefits and purpose of work. Not helped by hearing customer comments everyday how noticeably poor it has become.

Pros

Nice staff Nice facilities multi storey car park, free gym.

Cons

I was interviewed for nights, only to find out during training "all shifts were on same training rota" that I'd been put on permanent earlies, 6-2 which meant I had to get up at 4am due to a medical condition this was difficult for me. Hence I applied for nights. Nobody asked me about this shift pattern just put me on it. People apply for the shifts they apply for, for a reason. I might of had a child at home with my wife out at work in the day.
