Pros

The people at Waitrose are incredibly friendly and welcoming and helped to make working there more enjoyable. The pay is average, not too long hours and in my branch you can get food 50% on shift to eat.

Cons

Management were useless couldn't get themselves organised. I wasn't trained properly on the tills and they kept putting me on there without any help. Didn't tell me anything just showed me lots of online media about my job. Customers are often very rude Pay isn't anything special, bonus cut for another year running not worth the pay. Very little option for overtime

Pros

Main advantage is good money working for JLP in comparison to other employers (and when I worked there I also received a bonus) + recognised name for customer service which has been helpful when applying to other jobs. There was a big team so lots of people to get to know which is always a plus.

Cons

Staff were not very flexible when giving time off which was difficult when trying to attend university open days, school events etc. Full time staff were favoured.
