Pros

#1 SBA Lending, Mortgage Lending, $238 billion market capital, biggest bank hands down with 81 lines of business, 4th largest insurance brokerage in the country, merchant services, payroll services, expert Wells Fargo Advising Firm.

Cons

Negative publicity about dishonest sales tactics create a stain on the company, as someone who has worked for Wells Fargo for many years I know that any job can be stressful but honesty is something that cannot be broken without ramifications, in the case of the people who complained about Wells Fargo it caused them to get fired.

Pros

Extensive training, decent benefits, decent hourly pay rate (if experienced), plenty of PTO, friendly and receptive direct management, flex scheduling allowed for appointments.

Cons

Monthly bonus removed and substituted with annual bonus. For tenured employees, that eliminated a maximum of $2000 each month of income. Internal promotions only allow a maximum of 10% in raise, which can take a salary position and make it less cost effective than your previous area of employment.

corrupt and unethical management

Pros

Paid holidays (but they are open on some holidays as a "convenience" while the federal reserve. Pay rate is the same.) And Sundays off.

Cons

Caddy women in management. Very high ratio of women to men. I worked with this company for 3 years and was randomly transferred twice. I moved closer to work and was a half mile away and was still transferred 6.5 miles to another branch. They knew I didn't drive. Customer complaints fall on deaf ears. Human resources always sides with management. Only select employees are written for not meeting sales goals (myself included). You are expected to sell a credit card to a 95 year old woman...need I go on?
