Pros

Majority of the people are great to work on a personal level. Scheduling is flexible and career advancement is possible when knowing the right person.

Cons

It used to be service then sales but that focus has been switched around. Bankers are pressured into selling unnecessary products to customers to maintain their daily numbers which are then praised for how well they have performed.

Pros

I actually came to this site and it's been extremely helpful. 1st part is an assessment online which you fill out. 2nd part is phone interview. To push the process along I found the 800 recruitment center number on my own and inquired about an appointment. That seemed to confuse them a bit but the next day they scheduled my phone interview 5 days after. Simple questions like Describe a difficult situation and how you resolved it, How do you handle an irate customer, etc.

Cons

Be aggressive in pursuing them for the job they are very slow at callbacks from what i've heard.

Pros

We have the opportunity to learn how to communicate affectively with team members and customers. You learn to understand understand how to cross sell and become the "voice" of Wells Fargo. You learn the foundation of banking as a Phone Banker so that you may move forward in any retail banking position.

Cons

It's too busy. Those are three words that I say out loud almost every single day. You take an average of 100 calls per day with questions that can easily be answered through other mediums.
