Pros

Prior to 2017 internal take over: People, Pay, leadership, and careers.

Cons

Since 2017 People are rude No Leadership just a boatload of untrained managers. Forced training Forced agile...as in down your throat or you are out the door. 2017 evidently there was a new Wells Fargo being built parallel to the original. In a matter of a few months the entire IT area was hit hard with layoffs (never mentioned in media) which continues today. All software...ALL but email, was changed with all new team members taking charge. No one is safe in their job even top employees who have an overwhelming workload are let go. Laid Off is new word for Fired for no reason. 80% overseas staff, beating 70/30 intended ratio. This is no longer a place to have a career. You only are assigned a job which most likely is far from your skill set. Setting up employees to fail

Pros

there are a lot of moving parts to banking and it can be nice to learn so much from that exposure.

Cons

they make you pay for parking at their building. bad bonuses, bad raises, bad technology (some websites I use don't work unless they are in internet explorer). don't care about the employees. the bank is just too big. you get bottlenecked by trying to reach out to other teams for answers or questions. Overall, I learned a lot on my own, but I wouldn't go back.

Pros

I have a few nice coworkers.

Cons

The metrics for this position are not attainable. Not only that if you don’t meet the metrics working the first 2-3 months you’re job will constantly be waved above your head. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO LIFE WORK BAKANCE, so if you’re a parent of any kind, DO NOT apply for this position. This job will mentally tear you to shreds. You’re mental or Physical health does not matter m. Too bad I am not able to state names, otherwise I’d be able to inform you of specifically what team & other coworkers that are having the same experience.
