Pros

Wells Fargo is really dedicated to promoting from within. The campus provides a good environment with scenic surroundings. There are many online training opportunities for self development. There are new mentorship programs being offered to help with career development.

Cons

Management appears to be disconnected with the real challenges with achieving the unrealistic numbers that are required. This places unnecessary pressure on the Customer Service Representatives. It forces people to be more concerned about numbers than about helping the customers. This is a primary source of stress and takes away for wanted to work.

Pros

Benefits are solid. Good pto, 401k, hsa etc.

Cons

If you work long enough, your bonuses start to shrink and your pay is stagnant so you end up making less year after year. Few opportunities for advancement or increasing your skills. Attempting new things and expanding skills, at the request of management, in my experience resulted in a bad review and no bonus at all after several years of excellent reviews in my previous role. This incentives staying put and not expanding skills or trying new things. Politics and constant executive shuffle in technology, where much of the work is zero benefit added work to change technology as required only to change it again in a year cause a new executive had a different idea, giving no value to the end user, is constant. Career stagnation is likely here.
