Pros

Good pay, most people are hard working and want to do the right thing but bogged down by corporate red tape, politics, and bureaucracy.

Cons

Share of work is not evenly distributed on teams. If you demonstrate yourself as capable and competent you will get responsibilities piled up on you while incompetent lifers are shoved off into a corner to do fake busy work. Endless internal testing and audits with no regard for overlap with BAU work.

A lot of leadership turnover, movement, and layoffs as they move toward target model and size. Not always the best technology for internal tools.
