good compensation and benefits; mostly good people (although many are fleeing)

Cons

little confidence in management or their plans ..... which seem to change dramatically by the quarter ... org changes and initiatives create massive workload, but little consideration for resources to get it done .... managers don't really manage, just issue targets (the German way)

you get to learn a lot of things, about your job and outside of it. because you do as many things as possible.

Cons

for most times the environment feels chaotic, and finding the right person for the right thing is difficult

Pros

As a mechanic it was good place to work, lots of equipment and processes to learn, Sylvania provided many technical and safety classes. Great and knowledgeable work force. Many opportunities. Unfortunately plant was shutdown in 2014 and equipment was transferred to Mexico.

Cons

Very fast pace. Sometime I felt overwhelmed. During my time Manchester plant has 5 or 6 plant managers. Each new plant manager would introduce some or many changes in short time frame. Lots of pressure down to employees.
