I applied online. I interviewed at Booking.com (Bukarest, )
Interview
They wanted a test translation and then never said what they liked or didn't like about it. Also, it seems this position is open very often, and they forget they interviewed me previously.

Question 1
General things, like why do I want to work with them
- Applied online in January and I received an invite to complete an online assessment shortly after.
- I completed it the next day, devoting my time and energy into the timed translation/transcreation test.
- Then, other than an automatic 'Thanks for completing the assessment' reply, all that followed was SILENCE.
(I could not even find a contactable email address to reach out to any real HR person, as the whole process is done within their automatic-reply-only system.)
- After a full month of silence, only in early March, I received yet another automatic response saying 'we have decided not to take your application any further.'
Utterly disappointing from such a large company. Please respect any language professional who has taken the time and effort to complete a test by giving them a result and concrete feedback in a reasonable timeframe. Also appalling that there was no real human being to talk to and raise any issues with along the way.
Will never even think about applying for this company again. Maybe you should spend the time and money marketing how fun the work culture is on creating a more transparent and professional hiring process.

Initial phone interview in English with questions about previous experience, why you want to work for the company; would have been followed by a video interview in the second stage.
