I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Arlington, VA)
Interview
Referred to HR by former colleague, which led to several calls, and invited onsite to VA for a one hour meeting. I should add that the Director that interviewed me was completely unprepared, asked ridiculous questions (technical questions without any context), and was not a subject matter expert at all. In addition, out of the 1 hour interview the interviewer was sending out emails and doing client work 70% of the time, which is a complete joke and very unprofessional. I almost walked out. I would definitely not interview with KPMG again, and felt they don't take the process seriously compared to other Big 4 even after I let the recruiter know who basically replied, "ok." What I found interesting was that the interviewer worked at my former company and I knew for a fact he got that job at KPMG not having the right level of experience to begin because I know his team and the type of work they do/don't do. To make matters worse, I flew to Arlington and booked a hotel and the company didn't reimburse me for travel expenses for almost 2 months. Perhaps others have a better experience, but at a Director level, it was not well handled and seemed liked no-one really cared.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at KPMG (Canberra) in Feb 2019
Interview
Formal process that you certainly had to be well prepared for. However, interviewers made you feel relaxed and felt like you were able to present yourself in your best light as a result.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at KPMG
Interview
Had a chat with the HR person followed by a call with another director. The phone interview with the director was one of the weirdest interviews I had. The person asking me questions was silent as "mute" for me to understand what he was expecting or whether I was taking the case in the right direction. He seemed to be hung up on a workshop that was supposed to be conducted in this case. The HR person told me that the interview would be for 45 minutes, but, the director, after 30 minutes, told me that he is running late to another meeting and abruptly ended the interview process. Overall VERY WEIRD experience! Having read some of the reviews of people who worked in the Lighthouse group, I understand why people are unhappy working there. They have to work with such people as my interviewer!! I sent an email to HR right after the interview and withdrew my candidature.
