I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Montreal, QC) in Jan 2020
Interview
It began with a brief phone call with the talent acquisition specialist. Then followed by a zoom call with senior sales members. The phone call was standard and we had a general discussion. The second interview was tougher as a senior sales rep was there accompanied by the head of NA Sales. They were all very kind and patient. There was a lot of understanding my background and some questions of how I'd fit the role.

Interview
I was very excited about getting to interview with Lightspeed as I had read a lot about the company, industry and growth. I had a first round phone interview on October 16th with a Canada based hiring manager. She was friendly and gave me a good impression of the company and I thought the interview went fairly well. She told me she would get back to me by the next week and my instinct was I would be invited to the next round. I never heard back...not a rejection or anything. I realize HR professionals have a lot on their plates but being totally ghosted has never happened to me. A month or so later I emailed her just to know what happened and nothing...Anyways, it was sad to see this is how they treat candidates and choose to respect their time and effort.
