Worse Company

Pros

You can travel abroad if you are good at licking Best company to work if you are someone who prefers to spend time in cafeteria You can build some good network because everyone is looking for a job

Cons

Its a worst company that i have ever worked for. They have excessive manpower in all the departments and still are hiring people. Most the work is second grade testing and porting work from Sydney and Vegas which can be done by 2-3 persons but the management will hire 15-20 people and 5-6 managers just to make their team bigger. There is no stability in the organization, worst HR team, unorganized structure, they ask people to leave for no reason and spoil their career. STOP buying best place to work medals. I know atleast 30-35 team members who gave worst feedback in the surveys but you guys still get good ratings. People with no skill, no experience are being promoted because they are friends with someone who can influence management decisions. India Head always acts like a blind man and take no action against his close aides who are only good in politics or maths. HR will make IT to read your emails and personal messages. Women are not safe in this company and are made to dance with visitors during office parties

Pros

Fun parties, decent benefits and bonus

Cons

Where do I begin? Terrible culture, all lip service Promotions are 9/10 times due to favoritism Arrogance all over the place Silos Many VPs are bullies towards employees instead of welcoming and helping Feels like there is a lack of growth for women even though they “promote it” they rarely follow through So many cultural issues but no one will address it and allows it to continue HR makes you feel like crap for an issue over being helpful (back to the favoritism) Lack of transparency over everything (biggest red flag when I started and never changed) Lack of transparency during COVID Let’s just say everyone I know who was let go from this place during Covid has done a million times better for themselves (including myself)

Pros

Work life balance and great benefits including compensation. Nice maternity leave benefits, great vacation policy. That's about it! You're lured in by the recruiting team with these incentives, but when you start it's true what they say, " all that glitters is not gold"!

Cons

No trust amongst the HR team, you are constantly warned about what team members you cannot trust, because some of them have direct relationships with the Australian corporate office and will get you fired if they don't like you. Which harbors an environment that creates a lack of security. In my first week I was told, "let's face it none of us are going to retire from here... we're just getting by until we find the next best thing." You will also notice " different strokes for different folks" attitude, no structure or processes in place. Finance department handles many of HR's functions, because of the inconsistencies and lack of trust "the business" has in the HR department. The HR structure is flawed, you feel as though you're set up to fail. HR leadership doesn't care, they too recognize how flawed the department is but when they express their concerns with CHRO, they claim she's not open to hearing feed back and is defensive. So everyone just sits back does the bare minimum to get by and collect a paycheck.
