Pros

Nice uniform and you meet some amazing people

Cons

Recruitment process was very automated, no interpersonal interactions. It really is a numbers game. No respect for employees. I decided not to return after my first day there, unorganised induction, very harsh and demoralising for the 13,283 salary they offer!!!!! I must also disclose that a manager on the induction day made a racist comment about the guy from IT over the phone whom he had a conversation with, he then walked back into the room with us and said ‘he could speak for India!’ Absolutely disgrace, no manners or common sense for BA employees and you call these managers?

Pros

Nothing at all. Just regrating and Will be regrating my entire life why I joined this company. I was enticed by by brand but it's all rubish. Not a place to work for.

Cons

if I start listing cons I don't think I can finish in a couple of hours or so. Last review was correct and I thank the person for detailing all the issues here so I'm not repeating them. You will be monitored every second/every call/ no matter how experienced you are in handling calls even if you have 25+ years experience in call centre you will never hit the performance score as The untrained TL's job is to pick up on minute issues to harass you on One to one meetings. That's not the end then you will have quality on top of that another battering on one to one. This place is a hell. I had 15 years of experience in some reputable organisation but still struggling to cope. Some TL are working here for 20 to 25 years and thinks others as school leavers. But the don't realise they are just TLs for that long could no go any higher then that. why?they look for opportunities to Harass you in front of everyone. Will not take over call s from you when customer demands to speak to managers as their right. I am seeing for last 4 years group by group new ppl joining almost every other months but can't figure out where all these people go? I am now suffering long-term illness due the stress I was coping with in this place. Will leave soon.

Pros

Interesting industry. good to be able to travel standby.

Cons

focus on short term revenue prevents customer focus. environment where constant cost cutting negatively affects the consumer proposition and employee morale. old-school operational mind-set discourages risk taking and prevents new thinking. politics and culture cripple innovation and horizontal cooperation. lots of management been at the company too long, are lazy and entrench old thinking.
