Pros

Diversity of jobs; evolving structure means there are real opportunities for the lucky few with the ear of local managers. Far to many people are holding down jobs they are obviously not fit to do well. Lip service to performance management means that they stay put in comfort zones. Many good staff leaving as they see that they have poor prospects of promotion or meaningful training

Cons

Very poor management at virtually every level. Company is made up of other acquired companies and there is little concerted effort to consolidate. Too many placemen

Pros

FTSE 100 company, very successful in their field with sustained growth, wide range of operational areas, informal, feels like a family business

Cons

Annual leave entitlement, pension provision, divide between levels within the organisation, very unstructured approach in most areas, training and development almost none existant, performance management patchy at best.

Pros

Relatively good salary and benefits in London. Capita is well known around the country. Has a good potential if the company is to turn around. Has financial backing of the parent company at any time.

Cons

Sometimes incompetent management and some employees. Too much hierarchy. Falling behind the industry. Lack of accountability for actions or job done. Not always thinking as a customer service provider should think. Management is too easy with employees sometimes and therefore quality does not improve. Poor pricing structure of services provided. Sometimes it feels as numbers were just guessed.
