Pros

No micro management and great autonomy. Duvet days to help recuperate.

Cons

Inexperienced senior management, with a lack of understanding on how to manage business change. Changes to the way the business operates aren't clearly communicated and impacts aren't greatly understood until its too late. Slow to react to employee feedback, leaving employees feeling they have no voice or value. Great people are choosing to leave as the morale of the teams plummets.

Pros

Friendly colleagues. Relaxed work place.

Cons

Very difficult to achieve the promised bonuses. No possibility to make a careers unless you know someone. Low salary. No meals voucher. 6 months probation period and they can dismiss you with no pre-notice at all (while you have 2 months pre-notice to give if you want to resign, even during the probation period). Medical aid is payed by the employee. If you need a sick leave you have to go to the doctor even if you are very sick the very first day. Sofia is a very difficult place where to live. People do not help you, they speak only Bulgarian (and you can't even read the cyrillic). There is no cultural activity in english so you can't go to theaters and Museums are few and poor. The city is much more expensive than what they promise. With the salary you can only afford to live in suburbs. The Company can move you within the various projects they have.

Pros

Flexible WFH policy for non-auxiliary staff Depending on your position, there are many opportunities to work domestically and internationally. Some great clients to work with, a testament to the excellent commercial team. Fantastic coffee machine! Plenty of work to be done (no chair spinning) Casual work environment, with many talented people working here Training budgets provided, both professional and personal development

Cons

Incredibly high rate of staff turnover across all departments and levels. A consensus of below industry standard salary, without transparency into the benchmark salary bands cited in quarterly updates. Lack of training and investment, particularly in my team (TechOps/SysOps), again contributing to the high rate of staff turnover. Lack of qualified senior management. Key departures in the internal engineering team have never been refilled. Incredibly cramped office. Planned bathroom renovations that were hyped never eventuated (single mens toilet for an office of 40+). Training budgets can be difficult to access, thus felt like numbers used to inflate the overall salary package.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review - it's really important for us to get feedback, especially when someone has left on a negative, which I never like to hear. It's good to hear you still had plenty of pros, but the rest of your feedback is equally important for us to get. There's been a period of disruption to the business over the last year or so, including changes to some of the senior management, which has been felt across the company. I believe things have started to settle down over recent months, with staff turnover rates reducing again. (Our staff turnover rates are actually quite low for this industry, which makes it feel particularly bad when they do go up.) As I've mentioned in other comments as well, we are continuing to review our salaries and benefits to make sure we are competitive in the industry as well as having a good culture and working environment. Training in particular is something that I believe Tigerspike offers more than pretty much anywhere else I've seen, but I do think we could potentially improve at helping our people get the most from this. I'm sorry to hear a dual responsibility role didn't work for you. This is something we occasionally need to explore, as sometimes a full time role simply isn't warranted for every region or area of the business. Usually we'd aim to do this in a way that gives our people the opportunity to shine and enjoy a new challenge, but this is something we clearly got wrong in your case which I'd like to apologise for. Thank you again for your feedback and all the best in your next adventure.
