Pros

-Great workmates -Near Public Transport -Good job for someone looking for call centre experience

Cons

-Pay is really low compared to other call centre jobs -Management does not care about your opinions at all. All they care about is stats -Management does not seem to care too much about mental health. -High staff turnover -Unsanitary workspace - they don't seem to clean office equipment unless someone complains -Computer is slow and buggy -high stress + low wage = not worth it -Company does not invest in staff at all. No upgrades in equipment, really low bonuses.

Pros

They offer a good benefits package.

Cons

Salaries can be stagnent. The siystems they use are out of date and make your job a lot harder than it should be. There are few opportunites to move up in the call center,

Pros

It's the last chance saloon of jobs!

Cons

Where to start... The training is 95% theoretical and quite often it is confusing, fast-paced and presented in a juvenile fashion. Trainees are not allowed to access their notes or provided with actual job aids (as used by 99% of all Call Centers). It makes it incredibly difficult to learn if you cannot even study the material presented to you. The first 4/5 training days focuses on privacy and data protection - YES - 4/5 days! It is explained in great detail for 4/5 days that employees will be jailed if there is a security breach. A security breach can be a simple as picking up one's phone (not using it...just picking it up) while in an area that is deemed inadmissible for cell phones. Trainees are advised that they can be searched at any time (this means their person, their devices or any bags they may have). The entire first week is about letting trainees know they are watched at all times and considered to be untrustworthy. One trainer went so far as to say they needed these measures in place because "they hire people from different walks of life!" Employees are forced to sign a document which allows Concentrix to schedule workers for 48 hours in a one week period. The HR rep who attended a recent training session advised all Trainees they must sign the document. However, when the Trainer was pressed to explain the standard number of shifts and number of hours per shift, he said it was necessary for him to clarify with HR. The actual building is also an issue. It is a dingy, dirty and unwelcoming environment. The carpeting looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Ceiling fans in the training rooms were filthy. The rooms are hot and stuffy. The bathroom looks like something out of an old shopping mall - back in 1980. Someone please clean this place up at the very least. Overall the message conveyed to new employees (trainees) is very negative. The first week, as mentioned, is all about conveying the punitive actions that can and will be taken against you as an employee. I should also mention that you will be required to write down the time you leave the training room to go to the bathroom and the time you return from the bathroom. YES! You read that correctly. If you are in the bathroom for what may be considered too long, your trainer will come find you. It is nothing short of kindergarten! The rate of pay is the same as working at a Tim Horton's or any other retail outlet. If you can work anywhere else....do so! This place is a nightmare and it is basically the last resort for anyone who may need a job. The employees here, for the most part, are those who cannot find jobs elsewhere...they are misfits, low IQ, uneducated , with little or no real experience or prospects. The rate of turnover is very high at this organization. Wonder why?
