Really horrible company

Pros

Work from home full-time, unlimited vacation, decent pay, great coworkers

Cons

Worked from home full-time because DXC didn't care enough to provide internet that actually worked plus everyone's morale was so low due to no raises, no bonuses, and constant demotions for management after laying off most of their direct reports. There was (and still is) a steady stream of employees quitting for better opportunities with no one ever hired for their back-fills. DXC makes no attempt to keep talent and only cares about cutting, cutting, and more cutting. They love cutting so much they are in the middle of laying off most of their workforce over several layoffs. They don't even look at performance or even if the project you are working on makes money; they just cut a huge swath of their employees because they wanted to. I haven't even mentioned yet the huge amount of red tape, inaccessibility to company websites (including the benefits website), or the 4+ hour wait time to chat with IT (they hang up on you if don't respond after 2 minutes, so you can't leave your computer). There is so much wrong with DXC that I can't list all of the major issues here. Bottom line: anywhere is better than DXC.

A Class Action Waiting to Happen

Pros

They will hire you, because barely anyone applies because of very low brand awareness of the company.

Cons

This company is unethical to the core. The top management (CEO and Directs) seem to have a mandate to cut cost by saving on Employee Compensation. This is done by 1. setting unrealistic quotas 2. raising target midway to make them unattainable 3. refusing bonuses to entire departments at time 4. timely firing of employees to avoid a bonus (pl Google Hilton vs DXC lawsuit).

Pros

There are legitimately no pros to working here. The thing I used to say was that your coworkers were good, but the CEO is working his hardest to make sure all good employees are either overworked, quit or get laid off.

Cons

Senior leadership is the biggest con in working here, as it trickles down into the toxicity of the culture here. In a company of 135,000 (shrinking, of course, to make sure we hit the right stock price) the man on top insists on making every. Single. Decision. Managers are not empowered to do anything for their employees, delivery cannot actually deliver solutions to our clients and the CEO brags about how hard he makes it for people to get paid. And performance reviews are just like the show "Who's line is it anyways?" - the scoring system is made up and it doesn't matter if you did well, because you won't get rewarded for your hard work. Your reward is getting to keep your job. Because of the toxic leadership, it trickles down into every facet of the company. No one responds to requests or emails, no one works as a team, and everyone is worried about covering themselves to make sure they don’t get laid off. There is essentially no HR as they make it as difficult as possible to do anything or make any requests or find information. The company has been formed for 2 years, but there are still disparate systems, people still called themselves "ES" or "CSC". Additionally, they make it as hard as possible to get paid as a sales person. Not only do they gate it (you have to hit 55% of quota to get paid 10% of what you sold) but once you hit your quota, they simply raise it again. There are sales people who have had their quota raise 4 times and over 150% because they actually sold. And it is challenging as a sales person to sell when you know your company won't actually deliver on anything you actually sold.
