Pros

Good pay and flexible working hours.

Cons

Bully & harrasment Disability discrimination Competency based interviews mean you can't progress for doing well in your job if you can't make up a 250 word statement that ticks all the boxes. Poor absence management and high sickness rates. All based on stats - if you don't hit them your on performance management. Office politics Office is like a battery hen farm. Cramped in with as many people as possible. Management have a uncaring attitude. High turn over of staff - mostly moving to department of education. No one communicates Last minute changes and constant restructuring. Mass agency worker recruitment.

Pros

A couple of decent sandwich and coffee shops in the area conspire to get you out of the building.

Cons

As I arrived, the first thing I was told was who had resigned that week (3) from the team of 30. Over the following 3 months of my time there, more than half the team left, all but one with no job to go to. I soon joined them.

Pros

Unfortunately there are not many positives that I can think off apart from early finish times on Friday

Cons

Very racist and gradist institution. The role comes with heavy work load coupled with unrealistic deadlines. You will given little to no training and expected to complete tasks you been given zero training. There is a bullying and intimidating working environment underpinned by incompetent middle management in particular HEOs. Its basically an old boys network.
