Pros

Benefits were good; meeting, working with and cherished friendships made.

Cons

Finance/bean counters running the company; quotas go up at same time as ability to hire subcontractors to actually DO the work is removed. Firing people at random for years and years on end. Mostly older, experienced employees, and white.

Pros

* The Summit training program is useful and enjoyable. IBM invests heavily into new-hire training. * Compensation is quite strong for recent graduates. * There are many early employees and managers who are enjoyable to work with.

Cons

* Management rewards and promotes based on seniority vs talent. * Tense and aggressive executive culture incentivizing short-term thinking across the company.
