Free secured parking with plenty spaces available. On site canteen. Nice colleagues. Leavers party (almost) every week (although this could be in 'cons' section).

Cons

Unrealistic workload. I got to work overtime almost every day. No support from managers. No understanding from managers. Inflexibility. Nepotism. No leavers interview (for me). You do not get learn anything because there is no time for it. You have to work all day and often overtime. No training given, you are suppose to finger it out by yourself and watching colleagues. Facilities in Huntingdon are decrepit.

It's been 2.5Years, I feel very lucky and fortunate to have found a fantastic group of professional people to work with and learn from every day. - perfect environment to work. - work load is not hectic because labcorp believes on team work. - proper training and guidance with best experienced persons - overall leave days are quite good.

The staff are all generally friendly. Opportunity to do a variety of different tasks that make it easier to tick box skills for your career.

Cons

Shareholder/profit focus only. Give as much work as possible with minimal training or supervision. Promotions are erratic and inconsistent. Wages are poor at best.

The benefits are fantastic. 3 weeks paid vacation to start, tuition reimbursement, and while I'm having a hard time getting information on it, paid maternity looks like it's offered. They were very transparent with my benefits questions prior to being hired which was a huge help. Lots of different medical plans to choose from that all looked pretty good. The pay is competitive with hospitals, and my scheduling during training has been pretty flexible.

Cons

There seems to be a lot of turn-over, which is pretty common in this industry. There are a lot of differences as the name here changes from Covance to Labcorp with computer programs and different information. Because of this, the HR page hasn't had consistent information. That's disappointing because I'm struggling to find out more about tuition reimbursement, and paid maternity leave.

I felt very welcome by my colleagues, they were very helpful and open to guide me through the onboarding and training process. My Line manager is excellent! she has weekly virtual meetings to bring the team closer, to meet each other outside of work related stuff; honestly it helps a lot as the whole team is working from home. She also has a meeting every week to be up to date with our tasks (she is not my process related manager) and to offer help and guidance as needed. The eCOA team is really a great team. The company has very good benefits including around 76% of internet bill reimbursement, private health and life insurance, etc.

Cons

Maybe the company can work a little on the emotional salary and be a little more proactive on special dates like mother's day, maybe a welcoming package...
