Pros

The people are great. The normal colleagues, not the senior leadership team who are the worst example of management.

Cons

Our recent colleague survey says it all. Every score this year is down compared to last year due to terrible management (some would say dictatorship). Yet still, the senior leadership team refuse to listen to colleagues and are adamant they’re doing the right thing despite staff morale being the lowest it’s ever been. Until Charlie and Sharon leave, I would avoid this place like the plague.

Pros

None. Used to be flexible working, but not anymore.

Cons

What a bizarre case! I started in April 2023 and had to complete 13+ Induction trainings, including the Lloyds Banking Group Zero-tolerance Policy to Bullying and Harassment. On 8th August 2023 I reported a bullying behaviour of a team member to the Management formally. My Manager did not offer me to talk or explain the situation. The following day he scheduled a 15-minute call and said: "Because You do not live up to Lloyds values, we decided to let you go". Result: Do not believe when Lloyds state they do not tolerate bullying. They absolutely love bullies and protect them, and people who report bullies get fired.

Pros

Colleagues have an "in it together" attitude towards senior management Line managers are generally very good

Cons

-Senior management constantly thinking of devious ways to take away staff benefits -Glass ceiling quite low if you are technical. - Removal of compressed working hours has destroyed any trust in this company. Their fake "survey" following the outcry after the initial announcement only compounded the issue. Asking staff to choose radio buttons varying between "I fully support the company" on one side and "I am selfish and only think about what's right for me" on the other. This is how they respond to staff concerns. - Reduction of working from home arrangements is out of synch with wider industry practices. There are better opportunities elsewhere now. - Don't apply to work here. Go work somewhere else where you might be treated with respect. The systems here will go down the pan soon when quality staff decide to leave and they realise they can't re-hire anybody to fill those roles
