Pros

Large international company with operations in many countries throughout the world. Many opportunities to advance career. Good benefits, especially 401k, profit sharing, and 4 weeks of vacation. Company invests in developing internal talent, such as tuition reimbursement, training, and professional trade organization memberships.

Cons

As a very large company making significant changes is very difficult, and that can lead to being out innovated by smaller more agile companies.

Pros

-Great scope of brands -Allot of responsibility very quickly -If you are willing to work across different types of brands, you can build a vast knowledge of product development

Cons

-Business is marketing Lead. Many marketers that don't know the correct process for developing products this causes unnecessary risks and delays. -New stab in the back culture developed - Obsessed with money saving, is causing harm to innovations and product development -Short term objectives have prevented new innovations being adopted

Pros

- Great work / life balance in R&D - Good benefits (e.g. 401k matching, summer hours, good health insurance, stock options, etc.) - Good for career starters, as experience outside of rb is entirely neglected, and recent grads are valued in the same way as experienced professionals - Great maternity leave policy

Cons

High job rotation, once you've been in your job for a day you are considered "expert" once you've been in your job for a year, they'll rotate you to do something entirely different and yes... consider you as an "expert" after a week in the new job. Not a real big surprise that nobody actually knows what he/she is doing. High density of middle managers who: - micro manage - only convey & distribute information/orders from manager +1 - do not make any decisions - will not ever (never!) challenge marketing or their own superiors - do not know their job either RB has recently introduced a couple of additional layers of "leadership", which makes the decision making process non existent All in all, rb is continuing its downward spiral...and has not hit rock bottom - YET Sub par compensation in R&D
