Pros

There are still some long-term employees that are great to work with. I believe they try to make a nice work environment. If you want to be an individual contributor for the rest of your career they do a nice job of providing accommodations. There are many divisions to choose from among various job functions. Good Healthcare, 401 K is okay employer contribtions are good.

Cons

Schneider Electric reinvents itself about every three years into a totally different company new rule new acronyms. They place people in executive and middle management positions that do not have people skills and little experience in the business. They do not like to home grow leadership as a whole it is the preference to hire someone outside the company that has no experience in the industry. They are very focused on performance and customer not on the employee. HR thinks that they are very focused on employees but, the reality is the Business units and HR have differing goals which many times conflict leaving the employee in the middle or left out. Don't Join Schnieder Electric if you are looking for leadership opportunities they want to be a flat organization 20 to 30 direct reports per manager. Schnieder wants to manage every decision for the entire company from just one location.

Pros

Very good benefits and health programs. Fitness room is awesome. There isn't much else to like about the company. Very little support.

Cons

Flawed process in every facet of the facility. From sales, to engineering, to materials and finally production. Behind in technology. Management team is the least bit cohesive. Which impacts how cross functional teams support each other. Very poor culture. Management proceeds with high caution with employees due to threat of Union talk.

As a company, it’s important to us to provide employees with competitive compensation and benefits, and offer healthy well-being programs. The well-being of our employees is our highest priority and we’re proud that our policies allow our employees to have a positive work/life balance. We pride ourselves on having industry leading products, and have high expectations of our managers and supervisors. As a company, we focus on developing strong managers who act as coaches for their employees. Development is an ongoing process, but we work to ensure managers feel supported and equipped to help guide and develop their employees. Thank you for your review.

Pros

Not much is expected of the employees. If you are looking for stability in your day to day, this place is for you! Complacency thrives here!

Cons

Complacency thrives here. The company is way too conservative. They react rather than innovate. The company has way too many processes in place to make an impact or come up with fresh ideas. EVERY action requires meetings after meetings

We have high expectations of our employees, and our high performance culture means that we want to motivate our employees to do the best job they can and reward that effort. Our focus on training and development offers opportunity for employees to enhance their skills and grow within the company. We are sorry to hear you have a negative experience, and we have escalated your feedback to our local management team. While we hope to maintain the unique characteristics of all our different divisions, change and acquisitions can be hard. When companies come together there will often be a cultural shift, but we strive to make our change management process as seamless as possible.
