Pros

It’s a job and they pay you to do it.

Cons

Several ridiculous incidents occurred. Management loves to pick on employees including physical threats. Pregnant employees have had to quit due to bullying by management raising their blood pressure and putting their baby in danger. Managers drinking on the job and selling alcohol and weed/weed related products on the premises. Sexual harassment by management at work and outside of it and retaliation when advances are not reciprocated. Management can put anything on your file, per the CCM there is no way to dispute any of it, if you didn’t do it you still get the write up. Will do or say anything after your employment is up to guarantee that you don’t receive unemployment benefits despite any fault they hold in the matter. Coaching differs from team lead to team lead, and you switch teams often, meaning that you are constantly relearning your job the way your new manager wants you to do it. Ridiculous incentives, instead of paying people more for good performance, they propose dance competitions like employees are children. Every day your position and job is threatened. Policies are enforced with some employees and not others, time off is approved for them, schedule changes as well.

Pros

If you can handle yourself and learn a couple of tricks the work is not so hard, depending on the country you support. If you work in an economically depressed country you may even be able to put some money away before you leave. it s up to you

Cons

Teleperformance supports several countries and has one goal: minimize the amount of money that comes from the client and is used to handle the project, so that the managers can put as much money as they can in their pockets. Quite simply, no matter what country or product you are supporting, everybody is paid exactly the same, with the frustrating situation that some countries and projects literally do nothing all days and even receive ticket restaurants because there are few people from those countries willing to move to greece, while other countries are literally flooded with calls and it is impossibile to qualify for the bonuses. As all call centers, they care very little about the product per se and as long as you take as many calls as you can(for which they get paid) you can even hang up the phone in the face of the customers or be rude with them. In some projects, where the client is more strict, they try to enforce a more tight control on agents, but of course if you can get in the magic circle of the supervisor/acm friends, many mistakes will be forgotten and there are literally as many metrics as many agents a project has. People that tend to have good perfomances actually dont get promoted because they are more usefull as packmules in production while a lot of average , if not literally good for nothing, people that know how to kiss supervisors boots will receive better positions, with little to no control, a lot of flexibility and a greatly reduced workload. In teleperformance greece, it happens very often that people are getting fired with totally invented reasons, just because for that particular month the numbers say they are overstaffed and somebody must be fired. Most likely, if you dress in a fancy way or somebody cannot stand you, you will be fired asap. Of course, the following month, the same numbers will show them they are understaffed or somebody leaves without notice, so those people that were fired in the most rude possible way are called back and told that they are needed. A lot of people actually come back because once they manage to drag you into that depressed country, it is much less expensive to stay there a couple of months more than leave and give them the middlefinger they deserve. Agents from some countries are literally exploited because they have to answer to more than 60 calls per day, that in many departments, where you actually have to help customers, is a lot, since it means you ll stay at least 10 15 minutes with each customer, assuming you can understand the issue and fix it. For this reason, the people with better skills get fed up pretty soon, since they are often forced to fix somebody else mishandles service request, and leave as soon as possible leaving the worst there. If you check the titles of their ads you can see how desperate they are to hire whoever passes in front of the door; while i am writing this review this is their ad: " native Language+ English + But no experience = your new job in Athens" even the mistake is original... There would be a lot i could say about this company but i will just mention what is usefull for new hires: 1 you will pay ridiculous taxes because you are in a depressed country and the payroll doesnt tell you anything about the way they calculate your payment 2 living there is boring because the only thing they do all day long is sitting in cafes doing nothing 3 very few people speak english and they will try to cheat you as soon as they notice you are a foreigner, of course to try to get social with locals since their mentality is very narrow and you need to speak greek 4 forget healthcare, the IKA is useless, actually if you go to the public hospital you are putting your life at great risk. Pay or die 5 forget bonuses. if one month you ll manage to get them the following month they ll change the parameters so that you will not get them 6 they will try to pay you everything whti ticket restaurants that are quite hard to use, just because they dont pay taxes on those 7 locals will be preferred when scheduling holidays or in every other situation 8 if you are entitled to whatever benefit they will keep those information hidden until somebody is leaking the information 9 they will blackmail you with your presentation letter when you leave and they will tell you that, since you are leaving, whatever bonus you earned the previous months will not be paid because it is supposed to motivate current employers and not to award previous achievemnts, contrary to what they told you. 10 bonuses are always changing and those showed in the ads are the highest ideally possible in another department, that means forget them. 11 they will make you sign your new contrats at least 2 weeks after the previous is over, with different conditions that you will ignore until they hit you in the face 12 since the oldest job in the world in Greece is legal they will put you in hotels where those ladies go doing their business, so be ready for some weird situations 13 the houses are awful, with cockroaches easily coming out of every hole 14 employees from some countries may actually stay in teleperformance flats but of course you have to be a friend of the magic circles 15 managing your everyday life is hard because most shops are closed in the afternoon 3 days per week, nobody works on sunday, few work on saturday, the only modern places are super expensive because they are meant to rob foreigners. 16 the weather is annoying, dry and windy all year, with this perpetual smell of souvlaki and the roads made slippery because of oranges (yes they plant fruit on the roads) 17 2 times per year there are parties that are decent, if you enjoy staying in a noisy discotheque with your everyday pals 18 on sunday morning, bells will prevent you from sleeping other activities are well hidden and arranged in such a way that only few selected people are allowed to enjoy them As a conclusion it s a place where people that have nothing better to do may stay forever.

Pros

Salaries were paid more or less on time. Easy to get a position in the company. Nothing else I could mention.

Cons

Almost everything. No bonuses, no free weekends, awful schedules, arrogant and incompetent leaders. The relocation package is a big lie, you have to stay in the most disgusting flats, and a considerable amount is deducted from your salary for this kind of accommodation. The company decides with whom you can stay. No permanent contracts are offered. All in all, almost everything was bad.
