Pros

The work was not that busy and we had long time between calls, no stress because it was tech support and talking to rep and not customer.

Cons

No advancement no career growth in department where i worked. we were small group for tech support. Pay is not that great, benefits are not great, you will get benefit 40 hrs PTO after working 1 year and you have to ask managers approval to schedule PTO. Employees were very unprofessional and rude and always complaining did not like it at all.

Nice Company

Pros

Nice coworkers, understanding people, fun people to work with. Most of the callers were nice; few people yelled at you if you were nice to them. Interesting work- always learning something new about computers when you help a caller do something new in their operating system, etc. When you walk them through the steps given in your tools, you learn too. This could be a good start for applying for more advanced tech support jobs in the future, making more $$$.

Cons

Very hard to find a solution to the caller's problem within the timeframe the company gives you. I was constantly struggling (impossible!) to keep my call times under what they require. You have to find solutions to problems, and then explain them to callers in very little time.
